Need for Veterinarians, Spay & Neuter Clinics, Harassment of LAAS
Sign up to be on any of the
Los Angeles Dept. of Animal Services 3 email
alert systems.
The alerts will be coming directly from
the corresponding shelters. You do not need to be an Adoption Partner group to
participate. If you would like to receive one or more of these alerts,
email Heidi Huebner at:
hhuebner@ANI.LACITY.ORG
and include
List(s) you want to receive alerts for,
Contact Name(s), Phone(s) and Email(s)
1) Euthanasia Alert:
Lists animals scheduled to be euthanized in the next 24-48 hours. The animal
will be available for at least 24 hours from the time the e-mail alert goes out.
2) Unweened Puppy Alert:
For unweened puppies without moms that need immediate assistance.
3) Unweened Kitten Alert:
For unweened kittens without moms that need immediate assistance.
If you are able to pull an animal(s) that is on an alert, call the shelter where the animal is located and let them know that you will be pulling that animal. Always make sure you know whom you are talking to at the shelter, and let them know you are responding to the shelter's alert.
